As global warming progresses, warmer and more variable climate will make many communities more susceptible to flooding.

The Cornell flood resiliency group combines a variety of fields, including developmental sociology, engineering, urban planning, and landscape architecture to prepare communities against flooding by providing resources such as outreach material and flood risk.
