Homeowner Education Workshops for Improved Wastewater Management

Cornell University and NYS P2I LogosCornell University, in conjunction with local partners and agencies conducted homeowner education workshops for improved wastewater management in two lakeshore communities during Winter/Spring 2013. The workshops were primarily designed to benefit homeowners with septic systems in the communities of Canadarago Lake in Otsego County and Chautauqua Lake in Chautauqua County, although residents from neaby communities were welcome to attend. Two workshops were held at each location.These workshops were supported by funding provided by the NYS Pollution Prevention Institute through a grant from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.
